EA's four-on-four, arcade-style slant on the world's most popular sport makes its PSP debut with FIFA Street 2. Players can get their kicks by challenging more than 320 professional stars on 20 national teams or by competing against an international assortment of real-life street athletes in multiple game modes. Performing juggling moves and other feats of agility will build up a team's Gamebreaker meter, resulting in an instant score or a turnover when used during a match.The main aspect of play involves challenging a series of street teams in multiple underground tournaments. Players begin by creating a team and outfitting each athlete with a choice of hairstyles, shoes and accessories. Team members will gradually build on their abilities over time, or they can be substituted with more skilled athletes from defeated opponents.The PSP version includes two-player wireless support, a series of skill-based mini-games, and five exclusive venues: Tokyo, Vancouver, Cairns, Munich and La Boca. Each locale offers interactive elements to exploit with an array of tricks.

Players who successfully outwit their competition will increase the "momentum state" trick multiplier, allowing them to string together more special moves for a limited amount of time. As in the other Street titles, each time players use technique, they will charge a Gamebreaker meter that can result in an instant score or a turnover when used during a match. FIFA Street 2 also features a number of customization options. Players can create an athlete with over 1,000 variables, from hairstyles and shoes to accessories and clothing. Teams can also be created along with home fields, to the point where players can alter pitch surface and the turf's overall appearance using a special tool. Once players are satisfied with their teams and athletes, they can enter an underground street tournament or invite friends for three-player cooperative action.

Sports fans looking for hard-hitting action without the pads and helmets can rejoin the scrum in Rugby 2006. Players will lead their favorite rugby team through such league tournaments as the 6 Nations, Lions Tour, Tri Nations, Guinness Premiership and the Super 14. Players are now able to perform offload passes, quick line-outs, quick penalties, and set the fly-half in motion, all designed to keep the action moving at a heightened pace. Rugby fans can mix up the offense with "impact players," stars that can either make or break a game with their distinct abilities, or by assigning a choice of more than 25 set plays to their controller for smoother transitions. The career-like World League mode offers yearly objectives to complete while dealing with injuries, team morale, salary management, and trades. Successful managers may also receive potentially lucrative offers from rival teams, but those who fail to meet their goals run the risk of being fired. The action takes place within revamped international venues that include Twickenham, Lansdowne Road, Murrayfield, and the Millennium Stadium, each home to team-specific flags, rolling banners, and variable weather like snow and fog. Ian Robertson returns as lead commentator and is joined in the broadcasting booth by former player Grant Fox for all-new analysis.

Similar in concept to the 16-bit Sonic Spinball games and the GBA's Mario Pinball Land, Metroid Prime Pinball combines the character-based adventure and exploration of a platform game with pinball mechanics and party-table styled levels. In the single player mode, Samus Aran rolls up in a ball and must navigate a series of six large, pinball table environments, full of bonuses, power-ups and hidden areas that prompt shooting and platform-jumping mini-games. At the end of each table is a boss character, each with a distinct style of attack (and an equally distinct hidden weakness). Metroid Prime Pinball also supports a multiplayer mode, for as many as eight players, though a wireless DS connection.

Players choose from two up-and-coming hustlers, Jack Stone or Kat Hudson, and lead their character up the underground ranks by winning games in some of the most "exclusive" clubs the city has to offer. Players can impress fellow hustlers with trick shots, but it's all about the green at the end of the day. By betting on themselves (and then actually winning, of course), Stone and Hudson can earn money for the professional equipment and stylish attire they'll need to hold their own against Motown's biggest players.
